Jonas Acevedo

HEAD TRAINER | OWNER

Jonas Acevedo didn’t set out to build a gym. He set out to change the way people over 40 experience fitness, and that’s exactly what he did.

After watching too many people quit traditional gyms because they felt lost, intimidated, or just unseen, Jonas founded Infinite Fitness with a simple belief: everyone deserves a coach who actually knows their name, their injuries, and their goals. Not a machine. Not an app. A real person in their corner.

Carson Scott

Facility Leader

Carson has coached for three years, but his belief in training runs deeper. Watching consistent strength training transform his mom’s life made it click: this work changes people. With a Nutrition degree from Texas State and his NASM certification, he specializes in older adults who are new to training, meeting them with patience, working around their limitations, and moving at a pace that always feels safe. What he loves most is what strength unlocks: confidence, energy, and independence.

Kevin Purvis

Facility Leader

Kevin has spent nearly 30 years helping people build stronger bodies and more confident lives. With a degree in Exercise Science and certifications from several leading fitness organizations, he blends expert coaching with real-world experience and a simple belief: strength should help you do more of what you love. He leads the team at Infinite Fitness Steiner Ranch.

Prasam Poudel

Facility Leader

Prasam studied Kinesiology with a specialization in strength and conditioning coaching at the University of Texas at Austin, and is a Certified Pain-Free Performance Specialist. He specializes in working with pre- and post-operative clients, including those managing MS, stroke recovery, and joint replacement or dysfunction, helping them train safely and rebuild strength. He leads the team at Infinite Fitness Round Rock

Johnny Martinez

Performance Coach

Johnny is studying Kinesiology and Applied Movement Science at the University of Texas at Austin, with a specialization in strength and conditioning. He has coached high school athletes, built protocols for a private performance camp, and led small group training for over three years. Once intimidated by working out himself, he’s passionate about creating a supportive space, especially for women building strength and confidence, where people feel comfortable enough to stay consistent. He’s completing his NASM Personal Training and Behavior Change certifications.

Carlos

Performance Coach

Carlos earned his Bachelor’s in Applied Movement Science from the University of Texas at Austin, with a focus on coaching and strength and conditioning. A competitive background in football and wrestling taught him the dedication real results require, and he brings that same commitment to every client he coaches. His mission is simple: help people become stronger, healthier, and more confident, inside the studio and out.

Tricia

Performance Coach

Tricia has been a student of strength for 20 years. She holds a BS in Kinesiology, is an NASM Certified Personal Trainer, and is completing her StrongFirst Kettlebell Level II instructor certification. She and her husband Jason have been married 22 years and have four kids. When she’s not coaching, you’ll find her into sci-fi, traveling, and outdoor adventures.

JONAS ACEVEDO

Jonas is the founder and owner of Infinite Fitness. His passion for fitness and strength started in high school after receiving mentorship from the football and powerlifting coaches. His love grew after being involved in triathlons in college while studying for his undergraduate in Kinesiology. Through being involved in the sports and gaining his education in kinesiology, he noticed the number of preventable overuse injuries triathletes and endurance athletes suffered; this is where his interest in working with endurance athletes sprouted from. After moving to Austin while recovering from shoulder surgery, he began to notice a gap in the rehab to fitness continuum and the lack of direction once a patient has been discharged from physical therapy. From that experience, he decided to start the Rehab to Performance program. Jonas is involved with strength sports in powerlifting and Olympic weightlifting. Currently, he is a full-time coach with Infinite Fitness, has a small team of powerlifters, and works with the local high school (Navarro High) in assisting with their powerlifting program.
